Dock Disconnect Sensor
|
Typically most boats that are towed from the docked are stripped clean before the vessel can be found via GPS or by the police. The Dock Disconnect Sensor combines a magnetic switch along with a high impact tilt sensor to detect when the vessel is untied from the dock. When the dock disconnect sensor is vandalized or removed from the permanent dock mounting port the onboard alarm activates immediately. At foreign docks the sensor can be routed through cleats or around dock poles and back into the boat using the portable magnetic port or an on-board permanent port. The dock disconnect can also be connected to dinghies and jet-skis. On trailer boats such as bass boats, the sensor can be looped through gas tanks, trailer wheels, coolers, around mooring covers and other equipment to prevent theft and vandalism. Dimensions - 3.5"L x 1.0"D
Part # - DDS1: Dock Disconnect Sensor comes with 25' of wire, one permanent dock mounted port, and one portable dock port.
Part # - DDS1-NBT: Nylon tubing to protect sensor wire from chafing.
