Detects removal of canvas covers. The CS1 is a direct replacement of existing canvas snaps and is weatherproof. The CS1 is normally closed, easy to install and comes with 12" of #22 AWG wire. Switch is made of brass and stainless steel. Part # CS1

Dock Disconnect Sensor
Dock Disconnect Sensor

Typically most boats that are towed from the dock are stripped clean before the vessel can be found via GPS or by the police. When the DDS1 is unplugged the boat’s onboard alarm triggers. If vandal's attempt to unscrew or damage the base of the DDS1 plug receptacle a magnetic switch activates the alarm immediately. At foreign docks the DDS1 sensor plug can be routed through cleats or around dock poles and plugged back into the DDS1 plug base located inside the boat. The DDS1 can also be connected to dinghies, rescue rafts and jet-skis. On trailer boats such as bass boats, the sensor can be looped through gas tanks, trailer wheels, coolers and other equipment to prevent theft and vandalism. The DDS1 can also be connected directly to commercial house alarms from trailer boats and docked boats.

For installations where it is difficult to route a wire back to the control box the DDS1-R can be used with Marine Link transmitters. The Marine Link transmitters encoded sensor pulse makes the DDS1 virtually tamper-proof.

Part # DDS1: The DDS1 comes with 35' of wire, one base plug with weatherproof cover, power magnet, stainless hardware and instructions.
Part # DDS-R: DDS1-R comes with 35' of wire, one base plug with weatherproof cover, power magnet, stainless hardware, internal end of line resistor and instructions.
